Option A: What happened to the old lady in 'A Legend of the Northland'? Why?

Saint Peter cursed the old lady because of her greed. She refused to give him even a small cake although she had plenty. She was turned into a woodpecker who has to bore into hard, dry wood to get food.

Option B: What does the poet want to say in the poem 'On Killing a Tree'?

The poet wants to say that nature is very resilient. A tree cannot be killed easily by cutting or chopping. It grows back. To kill it completely, one must uproot it and expose its roots to the sun. It symbolizes that deep-rooted evil is hard to destroy.
