Life is a struggle. We live in deeds, not in years. If we rest, we rust. If we work, we shine like jewels. Adventures are the essence of life but action also entails contemplation. Proper action needs the proper initiative. The initiative is usually taken by the mind. The mind decides the action and the body performs it. Hence, the mind and the body should work in coordination. A healthy mind resides in a healthy body. We should take care of our health to perform good deeds. Regular exercise and a balanced diet keep us fit and healthy.
Discipline is the first law of nature. The sun rises and sets at a fixed time. The seasons come and go in a proper order. Discipline is necessary in all walks of life. It is the backbone of character. Without discipline, nothing great can be achieved. It teaches us self-control and obedience.
Pollution is the fouling of the environment, land, water and air by waste, smoke, chemicals and other harmful substances. The most serious pollution occurs where there are large cities and many factories. As factories produce new goods for people to buy, old ones are thrown out with the household rubbish. Burning this refuse pollutes the air, dumping it in rivers and seas pollutes the water and dumping it on land pollutes the soil. The air is also polluted by smoke and gases from factories and cars.

Subject: Nuisance of Loudspeakers.
Respected Sir,
I would like to draw your kind attention to the nuisance caused by loudspeakers in our locality. Our board examinations are approaching near. Students need a quiet atmosphere to study. However, the high volume of loudspeakers from marriages and religious places disturbs us late into the night.
It is becoming impossible to concentrate on studies. I request you to kindly impose a ban on the use of loudspeakers during the examination period.
Thanking you,
Yours faithfully,
Amit Sharma

Trees are the most valuable gift of nature to mankind and represent the lifeline of our planet. Often called the 'Green Gold', they play a pivotal role in maintaining the ecological balance. Without trees, life on earth would be impossible as they provide us with oxygen, which is vital for our survival, and absorb carbon dioxide.
Apart from environmental benefits, trees are a source of sustenance. They provide us with food, timber, rubber, and medicine. Forests serve as the natural habitat for countless species, preserving biodiversity. Trees also help in conserving soil by holding it firmly, thereby preventing soil erosion and floods.
However, it is disheartening to see the rapid rate of deforestation due to urbanization. Cutting down trees is like cutting our own lifeline. It is high time we realized their worth. We must adopt the policy of 'Each One, Plant One' to ensure a greener future.
Barwani, 15th October 2025: The NSS unit of Sandipani Vidyalaya organized a seven-day special camp in the nearby village of Rampur. The camp commenced on 5th October with 50 volunteers. The primary objective was to create awareness about hygiene and literacy.
Volunteers were divided into groups to perform tasks like cleaning the village streets and planting saplings. A special 'Adult Literacy Class' was organized in the evenings where volunteers taught the elderly villagers how to sign their names. A free health check-up camp was also conducted.
Cultural programs were held every night to educate villagers about social evils like dowry. The camp concluded on 12th October with a valedictory function presided over by the Sarpanch, who appreciated the dedication of the students.
Respected Principal, teachers, and my dear friends. Today I stand before you to speak on 'The Value of Games and Sports'. It is said that "A healthy mind resides in a healthy body," and sports are the best way to maintain health.
Games teach us discipline, teamwork, and the spirit of sportsmanship. They help us learn how to handle both victory and defeat with grace. In today's sedentary lifestyle, sports are essential to keep us physically active and mentally alert.
Moreover, sports have now become a great career option. Players like Virat Kohli and P.V. Sindhu have brought laurels to the country. Therefore, we must all participate in games daily for our overall development. Thank you.
